Last 2009, Toyota was able to announce a new model FT-EV in the Detroit Auto Show for an estimated release on the year 2012. It is impressively perceived to have four passenger seats with an electric drive train. The car will have a Scion badge that can alter forms to gas and hybrid. It has excellent exterior showcasing futuristic model-like cars. There is no further information regarding the other details about performance level like the estimated time of charge and power range. But according to other sources, Toyota was able to mention a few details like lithium ion batteries that are capable of driving for up to 50 miles.

The only problem of electronic vehicles is its limited driving range and recharging its battery would take up long hours. It is also possible that the capacity of the battery for storage will diminish through time. But the new FT-EV is developed to be more lightweight and compact. Aside from being a gasoline saver, it’s convenient to use by using a joystick for the accelerator, brakes, and steering.
This makes the Toyota FT-EV one of the cleanest cars for the future, which is already available in our lifetime.
